Thank you for starting a support group here on AH. I think support groups are the way to go. I am new to the Anytime Thing and think that this is going to be a pretty big change for me. I have tried a couple other programs and haven't found any luck with them, but I think with the support from this site, I may be able to. I am going to try to lose 60-70 pounds. What is your weight loss goals? and since you have lost some weight, do you have any advice for a newbee?
The group is actually on facebook, i can add you if you have a facebook account. My goals are to lose weight and tone up. My advice for a newbee is to eat less, exercise more. Eat every 3-4 hours to keep your metabolism up. It's a lot of hard work, but the end result is worth it!

You know what I find that we the seasons change and my mood is more pleasant im more apt to do more... I also feel better about myself so much so that I lose weight not only lbs but size too... My question is how do I keep that motivation up during the wintery blah months so I can stop this yo-yo effect... Im older now and cannot affort it- mentally or physically not to include emationally any longer.

I have a few people that have sent me friend requests and i am not sure which one is you. @ Kolleen: My motivation has always been, do i want to be slim and healthy or overweight and not healthy. I pick the slim and healthy. Also, something you might consider trying is the Nintendo Wii. It's fun and you are exercising at the same time, but you don't feel like you are since your playing a game

Thanks for starting up this group. Count me in! I have recently joined AF with my primary goals being weight loss and toning. For me, just being able to connect and communicate with others that share the same interests makes it a little bit easier.
