Since falling in love with myself (sounds selfish but for me it worked) and moving on a healthy way of life I have loss 25lbs due to support at home, here and at AF. The road has just started but I find myself setting a daily and weekly goal. My daily goal never changes - I may add to it but it remains the same that is 'just do something' meaning some form of exercise that gets my heart pumping and me moving.
My weekly goal for this week is just to continue/maintain drinking 80oz of water weekly.
If you are working out, 64 is not going to be enough because you sweat which means you are loosing water.
I drink a little before working out and after. Then for the balance of the day I do 20oz between 20-30 minutes before I eat, before I know it I have drank 80oz or more water that day.

Hey All ! I just wanna say Horray to all of you for being here to help others and to help yourselves I wanna join you all in the weight loss battle if you all don't mind I've lost 115 lbs so far and have aound 50 to go to reach my goal I wan't to join AF but I'm not sure if I can afford it on my fixed income any advice in that area would be helpful to me ... so if you all will let me I'm here to encourage or whatever will help!
I have around 100 lbs.to lose. I joined AF about a month ago. Trying to stay motivated but find myself making excuses not to go. Working a full-time job and going to school part-time does take a lot of my time but I can find the time to go to the gym on a regular basis.I would love to join ya'll. The extra support sure would come in handy. I would like to have a considerable amount off by my 23rd anniversary which is in July. I recently stopped smoking and gained 10 lbs. in 3 months, I only lost two pounds of that. UUGGGHHHH!!! I hope you can help keep me on track! I hope I can inspire all of you too!

When I turned 50 I had 3 times that amount to lose. I decided to take it one block at a time (50 lbs). I logged in EVERYTHING I ate, good or bad. It didn't take long to see my pattern. I became my best friend and faced the music like the big girl I am. Now 50 pounds lighter, going to the gym 5 hours per week, and eating the good stuff first...I've made myself Happy, my energy is back and I feel really good!

HI I am Kate and I just joined the gym yesterday. I am 5 8 and I need to lose about 145 pounds. I am doing this for myself, to get back into shape and to feel comfortable again in my clothes. I have two kids my son is 11 and my daughter is 6. I know that I am an emotional eater and that I need to change my eating habits. I need to eat the 5 times a day so that my body is just storing everything I eat because I am eating 1-2 times a day. I am hoping to get to the gym 3 days a week for an hour or two. I like to work out its just I never had the time to really focus on myself or had the support that I do now. I feel so blessed here lately to have the support of my family and friends to be able to do this. i look forward to taking this journey with you all.
I think you guys have a great group here. I personally have lost 90 pounds over the past 2 years and have 10 maybe 20 to go. I want to mention to the ones still drinking the pop that the diet is worse than the regular. I had low blood sugar when I started my journey and the Dr. took me off all pop for another reason. I dropped 20 pounds that first month....the only thing I did was cut out the DIET pop. I switched to Sweetened icetea (real sugar) and still dropped that much. Just something to think about. Now I drink unsweetened ice tea because the other is just too sweet for me. Don't give up...most of you can name several people that you are responsible for and owe them and you a healthy lifestyle. OMG Bablet!!! I only drink diet sodas but did think that was okay, for the most part! I am trying to cut down to one a day but tea just may be my best option afterall! Thanks for the great advice!
Hello! I am definitely interested in being internet buddies! I need all the motivation I can get, like most people. I am 32, have two kids at home, and am a stay-at-home mom. I dedicate ALL of my time to my kids, home, and husband and never to myself. But I'm finally realizing that I deserve it, and it's what's best for my kids too.
3 years ago I was dealing with a tragic loss in my family and since then have been battling depression and an attitude of "i don't care about myself." Since then the weight has just added up. I have 90 pounds to lose to get to the maximum of my healthy weight range. I actually enjoy going to the gym and look forward to my time alone each day. I have been working on improving our family's diet too, switching to more natural and organic foods. It has helped me feel better (I can really tell when I've eaten something unhealthy!) but it hasn't helped with my weight. Hi there! I'm 33 years old, turning 34 this month, have a desk job. I joined Anytime Fitness a couple of weeks ago, and had my first meeting with my trainer last Tuesday (and we're meeting every other Tuesday). My goal is to make it to the gym at least three times a week, and do my routine at least two of those days. I also play one game of competative soccer each week, usually as a goalie, but I'm nursing a broken finger at the moment, so I'm on the field. I've been using this site to track foods, and alter my eating habits as I realize that some 'good' foods are not really so good.
I had 40 pounds to lose when I started, I'm down to 35 at the moment. I'm at 37.1% body fat, and looking for a number more around 22%. I'm also looking to build up some muscle, but not really bulk up.
I decided to join because I was doing 'okay' by playing my weekly soccer game and sometimes getting out to do a 1.5 mile loop of intervals running/walking, but I had no idea how to get past 'okay'. Along with my soccer, I also do backpacking (usually 40lb pack range), kayaking and looking to get into doing some trike trips. My significant other is tough to keep up with right now, so I'm looking to shape up for the spring trips!

I would love to join in on the internet buddy system. I started with Anytime Fitness at the beginning of June with a weight loss goal of 100 pounds. I have 80 more to go. I have lost alot of momentum and motivation in the past couple of months and I am really trying to find my way again. I would love to join up with others who have the same amount to lose. I recently joined AF. looking for a few internet buddies to keep me motivated. I'm trying to loose 100 pounds. just turned 36 and with 4 kids at home and a husband find some days a struggle to stay on track.
I am interested in being internet buddies too guys! (Or are you all already on facebook?) I have about 120 pounds to lose when I started my journey but have already lost 10 in my first 4 weeks.
