this stuff sucks. have you actually read what is in it? a complete waste of money. people keep trying to get us to sell in our gym. its worthless. another scam.
Not enough protein in it to be worth the effort and very expensive.
Plese reconsider...do your research.
The protein source is soy, which is cheap and comes with its own set of problems....like the byproduct of that which can not be removed from contaminating the product is MSG....and all thessues it is related to.
There is only 12g Protein in a serving. The 20-22 they tout is provided by milk.
Soy Protein isolate- Extraction is a highly industrial and super heated process which effectively destroys most nutrients present, but may leave the toxins present in soy. Which is why the ingredient list is so extensive...they have to add nutrients back IN. Does this sound healthy? Kind of link "enriched" white bread. This is ALSO why this stuff is not cheap although the primary protein is.
Maltodextrin is a complex carbohydrate made up of 3-20 sugars. However, it is classified a complex carb...not a sugar. It IS very definitely a high glycemic addition to the shake, AND will spike your blood sugar/insulin levels despite being called "sugar-free". And what does elevated insulin promote??? Fat storage!!!
Articial flavor....the name says it.
This stuff is expensive, over processed, and full of less than optimal stuff. And let me also add that if weight loss is a goal, drinking your meals is NEVER a good idea. We have a need to masticate (chew) and THAT act helps set up the satiety trigger in the brain. (Eat slow and you get full faster.)
Body by Vi is nothing more than a gimmicky SlimFast with prizes. And gimmicks DON'T work for real weight loss.
There is another person on here trying to sell this and I do think they should read what you have posted. I agree with you about it being another slimfast type product. It is a fad diet and is not good for long term lasting results
