I have used N.O., C4, and Bullnox Androrush. Bullnox is, by far, the best. Avoid products with 1-3 DMAA as there are a lot of negetive effects thought to be associated with it. Honestly, if you get good sleep every night and eat right, you shouldn't need pre-workout to get the focus and performance you need.
Now I have it down to routine
45 mins before gym I take a 25mg capsule of DMAA then
1 1/2 cups water soaked for 20 mins with a bag of green tea
then I add a serving of Vega Preworkout
3g Beta Alanine 20 minutes before going to the gym with a 200mg caffeine pill.
I take 5g creatine mono every morning in my lemon water so thats already covered.
Trying a newer one lately. PVL Essentials Power Up. It has no stims in it but I take care of that with a 200mg caffeine pill and a 25mg dmaa pill. Add those to it and its a really good pre-workout, taste great and has no artificial colour, flavours or sweeteners in it. I have not tried it without the caf pill but they market it as a pre-workout stim free that still gives you a boost. I bought it as a vega alternative that still is artif junk free. The blue rasp flavour is nice and tart.
My pre, post, and during workout drink is always the same..carrot juice, celery juice, or coffee, coffee, coffee (ideally locally roasted and organic, but I'll settle for Starbucks over the gas station grade swill if need be.)
I dont drink coffee, today I used a free sample of Super Freak a 400mg caffeine NO boosting preworkout that made me feel spacey but I dont think it was any better than power up with 200mg caffeine. N.O. preworkouts are bullshit in my opinion but it was a free sample so i used it.

Hi, Right now, I am using Creatine mono 5g, L-Arginine 5g, Vega sport Pre-workout energizer 1 tbsp 1/2 tsp, and USPlabs Morden BCAA 2 scoops/ 22.22g. I weigh almost 140lbs. My experience may unique. Mind you I am pretty balanced when it comes to caffine. My mix doesn't tast the greatest but wow . I am going to the gym in 15 minutes. It usually takes about 20 minutes to kick in. Though its been said through this blog diet and sleep play a crutial part beyond the supp. We are undertaking a life change in our pursuit to better our health and families health outlook and supplements are for some a way to a means (does not mean dependent!). Tried jacked left me with jitters and feeling a little out of sorts while working out. MR2 pre-workout supp is pretty cool! It had a paltable taste but felt kinda acidic. I wonder how my stomach felt about that 5 month stretch.lol

Monty: You probably already know this but Vega has Rhodiola in it with acts as a vasodilator so you might want to cut back on the arginine a bit or even all together to save even more money.
Thanks Robert . After some more research thats just what I found out. Trying to cut back on Creatine and L-Arginine. pusing myself to go the whole food route. This approach should be something that will last my liftime. thanks

I think I will be cutting out DMAA (geranium) from my workouts. They banend it in Canada, then the US and other places like Oz and Ireland etc. It is hard to know who is right and who is wrong but I think maybe its best to just stick with normal caffeine in a pre-workout.

Hey all.. I am late getting on this but here is my two cents worth. I use one religiously before each workout and swear they work. It could be no more than placebo effect, but when I do not have any I feel the difference in both motivation and how hard my workout is. I use those with Nitric Oxide boosters, currently White Flood. However, i have gotten in the habit of rotating brands and types every couple months. I have been told by friends and mentors that your body can become accustomed to a brand if taken too long. This may not have any basis in fact, but it gives me a chance the rotate around. My favorites have been Muscle Pharm, Jack 3D, and 1-M-R.
The "staple" supplements I use are Protein (whey isolate & casein) Creatine and a Post W/O like Dark Matter <-- D.M. is awesome!!!!
Unlike the other posters above, I never "crash" after taking stimulants, but only take preworkout stuff if I workout first thing in the morning. --- not a morning person so I need all the help I can get... I rarely workout in the am though which means I rarely use pre w/o stuff
