Well thought I should jump on here to say hi to all the wisconsinites! Just joined not to long ago. Treadmill and elliptical (is that right) can be boring but love the feeling I have after its done
those are my two favs! Since I am older (in my 50's) there is less stress on my joints with the eliptical (got me on the correct spelling). Some good music or the TV takes your mind away. Love listining to Classic Rock workout on Pandora. I can lose my self and before I know it an hour is gone, and so are a bit over 600 calories!
I started using the treadmill again because I was stuck at one weight for a few weeks so I knew I needed to change things around a bit...dropped another 5 lb since then.

If everyone is in their own little world listening to music, no wonder they get mad at me when I go for my stretches laughing with my friend, just can't help but laugh sometimes either, it beats my anger issues, which I'm trying harder to control. Also, does anyone else use the virtual classes? I love going there for those and don't feelso alonethat way either.

I call those virtual class areas "zumba rooms" and refuse to step foot in them.
From Edgerton and you drive to Monona? Have you checked out Stoughton or Janesville to see what their clubs are like? I have only been to the Monona gym once and thought it was pretty nice, much bigger than the DeForest or Sun Prairie gyms.

Hi All, I am in Milwaukee and have been going to the Tosa location for the past few months.

I think the zumba rooms are great. We also hold our spinning classes in there too. Also a great place to do ab workouts and don't have to be in the middle of the gym on the floor. The video kiosk is also a great place for people who aren't gym rats to get a decent workout with a vitual trainer.

That's the main reason that I use the virtual room, so I can do what I want and no one is watching. Yes, I do live in Edgerton, but I work in Madison so I tend to workout there in Monona. :-)
