-15 challenge

I would like to join this journey so I can get back down to the size I was in the Army or close to the size. Im tired of being the big guy, I have the motivation but its always nice to have some help along the way. Right now im 345 and I would like to get down to 300 within the next 2 or 3 mos then work my way down to 250 then down to 200. A little bit at a time. I can do it and thats the reason im joining the gym. Suggestions on workouts and some diet ideas would be very helpful. Im looking forward to moving forward and getting to be in the best shape of my life.

I just got back from the club and a 90 minute weight workout.It feel so good when you are done with a good workout and makes you look forward to the next one. Beautiful here in Phoenix today at 102 and sunny.

Hello everybody, how's the -15 group? I gotta admit, I need a vacation!Whew Luckily I've got a few days of R&R coming up. My trainer pushed me beyond heretofore unknown limits. With only 6 minutes left in the work out I told him I wanted to go home! LOL, I made it though. Grin

So, I'm down two more pounds! Surprise Putting my weight presently at 238

My metrics are below:

Loss since first weigh-in on this forum at 266. - #28 (2# til I hit my 2nd 15)
Loss since joining AF at 285. - #47
Loss since beginning 295. - #57

I need to get back going with this. I'm actually up about 6 lbs since we first started this. Been missing out a few months and haven't been on here or to gym much.
Go in about 3 weeks to have ablation done then hope to really get going then! Doc hopes to be able to get me fixed up and off all meds! Praying for good results!
I am going to start back now though and work towards that 15 again.....and more! It really does help having support and motivation from everyone here!

Jordan, keep the faith and you will start losing weight! Hope the trip to the Doctor in 3 weeks allows you to get off your meds.I just took my pain meds so I will e going t0o the club in about an hour for a treadmill workout. Good luck to you.

Good Morning Minus Fifteeners, I know, again it's not Friday, but I worked out with my trainer this morning I had announced I had one pound to lose to reach the 60# lost milestone. He said, well, we're gonna work that off this morning! What a workout! Sweat was flying. I weighed when I got home and the scale revealed that I am down to 235# Surprise Fat has been melting off of me for the last couple of weeks. I know that likely means a lengthy plateau is on the horizon but I'll deal with that when it comes for now I celebrate the results of all this hard work!

My metrics are below:

Loss since first weigh-in on this forum at 266. - #31 (that means I've hit my 2nd 15 on to -15 round three)
Loss since joining AF at 285. - #50
Loss since beginning 295. - #60

Congrats to everyone and there weight losses! I'm very proud of all of you!!Happy My internet has been down so I haven't been able to post but I've got good news this week! I've lost 4 pounds which makes a total of 30 pounds which is my third goal!!!!Rock On So I'm down to 266 pounds I haven't weighed this little in 4 years!Applause and again congrats to everyone and there weight loss!

Welcome Amy to the group. Were just normal every dau people trying to help each other reach their goals. Give a yell and let us know what your goals are and what we can do to help!!!

I'll be going to the club in another hour as I'm one of those folks who like to do their workouts late at night. Tonight is a cardio night and I will be pushing as I have all week long. Set another record on Yesterday night on the treadmill with 60 minutes and 1155 calories burned.My Dr's made some med changes early in the week and I think my body is still trying to adjust.

Good job to all of those folks who have had a good week and keep trying for those who didn't quite reach their goals.
