I recently gave up drinking coffee with sugar and creamer mixed in, which was something that I adored in the mornings... and started drinking tea with honey instead. I still eat the same amount, which is more than I probably should when it comes to serving size, but I've dropped about 10lbs in the past two weeks. Has anybody else tried this and had awesome results?
I don't drink soda or really any other caffeinated beverage and have reduced my alcohol intake immensely. Just thought I'd ask!
I drink unsweetened tea, but not really as a weight loss reason. I'm just a very stubborn coffee drinker and am not always around a french press when I want caffeine
.
Anyway, I know that my sister got really in to green tea when she was on a diet. It supposed to increase your metabolism a little bit more than just regular tea. I don't know if there's any validity in it, but I do know green tea is widely used by people trying to lose weight. Placebo affect, GO!
How much tea have you been drinking and does it have to be caffeinated? Would love something to get my very slow metabolism going!!!
I actually havent been paying attention to if it is caffeinated or not. I'm sure it has been a mixture! At work everything is caffeine free but I don't see any indication of that on my home tea. Normally have around 4 cups throughout the day, sometimes more. The honey gives me a boost of energy too! Still 10lbs lighter since my last post- I've kind of plateaued but I feel great!

Good job giving up creamer, sugar, and reducing your alcohol consumption "immensely". I would say those are probably the key, rather than the tea!
