Wow...what fun...just did my first HIIT workout after lifting. What fun. Its great to mix things up. I did it easy with 30 seconds running and 30 seconds resting (not sure if I'll stick with this or try other intervals) and increased my running speed each time up to 9.5...boy did it work me and make time fly. I would recommend HIIT to anyone bored with their current workout

My interval workouts (not even the HIIT kind) always start with a warm-up that consists of moaning, groaning, kicking, and screaming.
Good job though! Having the energy to do that after weight lifting is a challenge.
