Oh, that's a problem you get at pretty much any gym. My Anytime Fitness became significantly busier in the afternoon between 5-7 pm time frame. Though admittedly, the activity increase isn't as bad as other gyms I've gone to. I guess that's the beauty of 24-hour gyms is the crowd increase is spread throughout the day rather than packed at the closing hours. The night time crowd grew about three people, so it didn't really get affected much. It shouldn't be a deterrence for signing up though. You may have to adjust your day if you plan on working out at the same time everyone else does, but it's only a temporary setback.

I go to 2 AF gyms and I can tell there are a lot more people after the new year. Also there are a lot more people between 4 and 6 at night. I usually go in the a.m.-around 8-9 and it's o.k. then. But I also think as the year goes by people will stop going that much.Happy Don't let the crowd stop you from going to the gym.

Being a 24 hour access gym, there really isn't the bottle neck of folks like at other gyms that have limited hours. As the other's have stated, there are more folks the first part of the year. But as the winter season leaves and the weather starts getting warmer, it levels out. I personally love seeing more folks as it is a reminder to me that I am not alone in my quest for better health.

I prefer to go at off hours, but I have training sessions right after work and I like to do some additional cardio then. It's been tough getting an open treadmill or AMT since the new year, but only once were they all filled. Avoid it from 5-7pm for the first month and then it will probably be closer to normal.

Both of the Anytimes that I go to have been CRAZY this year!!! This is the 3rd January I've survived at Anytime and it is by far the worst. Yesterday I watched people actually GET IN LINE for cardio machines! It was fairly nice out so my fiance and I said "screw it" and just went for a walk. He is fairly new to Anytime and I promised him that the crazy would be over by now... and it's so not...

I hope it gets better, not that I hope folks stop going and miss out on the benefits of exercise, but... it will even out again. It always does.

I thought that it would be a nightmare but even the AF I go to has not been busy at all. I was pretty shocked, but I dont know how it is everywhere else

My anytime has been pretty crazy lately, mostly in the afternoon area of 5:00, then again around 7-730. Its a good thing that so many people are trying to get healthy, however when there are so many people in the gym you are bumping into people to get dumb bells ect. it gets a little annoying! Things will slow down soon as some leave and the others get into a routine and not trying to "lose it all in a week", on that note I do honestly wish all those newcomers good luck and hope they stick with it, because speaking from expierence, its all worth it!

Like other gyms there can be some of the first few days during a week typically monday and tuesdays during the first quarter of the year. Generally thefoul weathered lol exercisers who weren't really serious about improving their health will fall off by April. We're doing a 16 week challenge at our club to help people develop the lifestyle change of making their health a priority.

I used to love going down to Duluth. Northern Minn is so pretty Samantha. I used to go to Grand Marais a lot as well.
