I've been MIA as well. No good excuses here. Just haven't checked in.
Laura, that is awesome that you are member of the month. I think any little recognition benefits us & helps to motivate.
Lisa, I just love your new pic! How cute is that little guy!
I'm getting discouraged here. Just keep waffling back & forth with the same few pounds & can't break through & make my goal. It's such a small amount in the grand scheme of things, but those last few pounds really mean a lot in the total accomplishment.On the other hand, I may be making muscle & that may be preventing me from losing those last few. My trainer really gave me a tough program this month & it is a toning program. People have continued to say they think I am still losing weight.So maybe it is muscle. But I sure would like to get those last few off so I can say I MADE GOAL! Guess I'll just keep plugging along!

Ok so yesterday I had to fly to California for business and I have to say - it was the first time I have flown since August.... For the first time in years I was able to not have to ask for a seat belt extender! I know it is a little thing - but I was so happy that I actually had seat belt left over!!

Hi Everyone - I miss hearing from all of you!!! I am still in California & I am struggling a bit to stay on track. I am doing either the elliptical or the treadmill for 30 minutes every day at least. I did walk a mile at lunch on Monday & Wednesday. I have been a bit stiff yesterday so I only did my trainer designed workout on Monday night - I was supposed to try to do it 3 days a week. I am travelling Friday after work - so I cannot do it then either. Kind of letting myself down a bit.

I am trying to eat right while here - but it is hard since I am not cooking my own meals. Subway twice & I picked up a Kashi meal for lunch on Tuesday. But - at least I am trying.

I am hoping to maintain while I am here. Doubt that I will be able to drop anything. But I am ok with that for now.

HIya Laura... it can be tough while out of town.. but remember 80/20,.. so just do what you can while your there.. as long as you don't just throw it out the door, I think you'll be just fineHappy ..

I have been doing great this week.. back on track and the scale is showing an 8 pound loss so far.. I am doing low carb..I know its all water weight the first week.. but hey.. its a loss..Happy ..

I think I ate my weight in Mexican food today. The real stuff too.... little tiny place no bigger than my office - best food. not even gonna hazard a guess as to the nutritional count. At least I did the 33 minutes on the elliptical this morning.
This weekend will be hard as I am at my bosses house in the middle of nowhere......
Oh well back at it at least partially Monday when we get back to the San Jose office!

Dusky. I totally agree with you. 2012 is for us. I just turned the Big 50 in January, I'v decided to be Fabulous at 50!!!!! I am doing this for me. Fix the inside and the outside will follow. I would like to take this journey with you if that is okay. Look Out 2012, Here we come.

ok so.. total lost for the week... 7.5 pounds.. .. I know its water.. so now lets bringon the fat loss...

my friend is coming to spend the day shopping with me.. so lots of walking in the flea market and stores.. .. not sure about lunch.. but I'll be good,,,

brekki was a 2 egg omelette w muchrooms, green peppers and black olives with a tbsp of salsa... yum..
