Anyone have any experience with the new Nitrous supplements ? I'm trying one for the first time, and it seems to really raise my body temp...

Hey Wendell,

I've tried C4 as a pre workout and it worked great. I'm 48 and have appreciated the focus, pump and results. I've tried samples of NoXplode...not sure if I'm spelling that right but like C4 better. I cycled off it now and am on Jack3d...like it too.

All those product get me sweating which I really like anyway...

I use Vega Pre-Workout with creatine for leg days but have gone back to Razor8 Blast Powder for my 2 upper body workouts. Vega is all veggie based and works fine for leg endurance but I like more of akick in the pants for my upper body weights. I also like creatine mono. I take bcaa's inner workout but am not sure if its really needed.

My shrink pretty much forced me off my normal full dose of Razor 8. I told her I looked forward to getting all jacked up on it (370mg caffeine) and she said I was just the same as steroid users (which I think is silly) and because im not a coffee or tea drinker she wanted me off it because it can make depression worse. Its a pretty good pre-workout like most things from Allmax. I liked 1MR more but I used to do a heaping scoop of that and now that they are removing geranium from everything it will not be as good. Jack3d pulled out of Canada completely last summer after Canada banned 1 3 dimethylamylamine (Geranium) like the EU did before. I think the US is following as its already a banned substance in many sporting venues.

Sorry....showing my age again....the "worried" crack was aimed at your Alfred E Newman pic...

My goal is to become as thick as I can without looking fake....I work in the corrections industry, and don't need to be seen as the 98 lb. weakling type.....

I myself dont really put much stock in NO products. They open up the vessels but 1,3 dimethylamylamine constricts them and its the item that is banned by the world doping agency as a performance enhancer. NO products give a good pump but I dont think they make you get any stronger. Just my 2 cents. Razor 8 has both (for now) Just like i dont bother to buy Glutamine anymore or beta alanine or taurine. I still use BCAA's inter workout but Im not even sure if thats needed. I also dont like using proprietary blends as I think thats a bull way of telling you whats in the product. I use 2 things. Razor 8 for Upper and Vega for Legs

Razor 8

CNS Stimulation/FFA Release/Beta Agonist 230 mg

Pharmaceutical-Grade Pure Synthetic Caffeine 170 mg
Di-Caffeine Malate (1,3 Trimethylxanthine Isolate) 23 mg
DMAA (1,3-Dimethylamylamine HCI) 19 mg
Hordeine (N,N-Dimethyl-4-Hydroxy-Phenylethylamine) 13 mg
Yohimbine HCI 5 mg

ATP Enhancer/Myofibril Acidification Buffer 2,713 mg

Creatine Monhydrate (Ultra-Pure 200 Mesh Microparticulated Pharma-Grade Creatine) 2,500 mg
Beta-SYNTH Beta Alanine 163 mg
Creatinol-O-Phosphate (C.O.P.) 50 mg

Endothelial Expansion/Hemodynamic Volumizer 1,852 mg

Arginine AKG (2:1)
Arginine HCI
Arginine Pyroglutamate (1:1)
Arginine Ethyl Ester HCI

Polymethoxylated FFA Release Extension/Hyperlytic Acceleration 21 mg

Yerba Mate Green Tea Standardized Extract 10 mg
Phenylethylamine Hydrochloride 6 mg
Grapefruit Extract (providing Naringin) 5 mg

Are you eating enough calories to gain mass? What is your post-workout regimen?

Its not all that bad. You just have to find something you like. Most places have samples. Some things made me feel good and some thinks made me feel bad. Superpump 250 and Muscleprime were 2 I did not like at all. Some I felt little taking and Jack3d before they pulled out of Canada was not a good value for me because I used 3 scoops. Razor8 gives me 80 servings a container (1/2 scoop). My fav was 1MR but Razor8 has more stuff in it and I know the exact amounts so I can add an extra 3 g creatine to it to get 5 or so. Proprietary Blends, you never have a clue how much of what is in them.

Currently, I know that my diet is a lot of my problem. I don't eat nearly enough, and what I do eat is not the best for me. Way too much sodium. I also have the added problem of a wife that is dead set against me getting fit. No idea of why, but she fights me tooth and nail just to get to the gym. Then when I get home, cookies, cakes, candy of all kinds are everywhere....makes it kinda hard for me to reach for my celry or carrot sticks......

Ah that is never an easy thing. A supportive spouse is everything. This is just a thought... but i would work on eating enough calories (and good ones) before you start getting into supplementation. Supplements are designed to work with a proper diet. Once that is in place, then move on to the supplements. Just an opinion...

My husband works for the BOP in Wisconsin. Happy
