My little victories:
- getting back to exercising after months of nothing. Starting small and will be working my way up.
- watching what I ate on this four day weekend
- walking at least 10 min per day at work on weekdays, trying to get in the habit on weekends too at home
- taking another step in the right direction to be as healthy as I can be

This year for Thanksgiving we ate healthy and afterword had a mini fitness boot camp in the backyard. It felt great to workout after eating !!
That is awesome. That is a cool idea to have a mini boot camp. I bet everyone had a lot of fun too.
Congratulations to all of your small victories!!
My small victories this week:
Lost 3 pounds in the last 10 days!!
Burned over 700 calories on the treadmill two days in a row this week!
and
I am on track for my weight goal by the end of 2011!
Yay!
My victory was yesterday when my personal trainer Brandi "forced" me to do lounges with weights and I actually did them and said is that all you got? lol I won't do that again sore as hell today but definately worth it!
My goal this week is to go to the gym and at least do the elip for 30 min every day this week. So far, right on track! Tonight I want to get one some weight machines! Even though they intimidate me, I know it has to be done if I want to lose weight and get in better shape!
Another small victory in the quest to win the war!
Great job, everyone! You guys are rockin' it.
My little victory was last night... I've been working out every day and I just wanted to stay home, but I made myself go because I wanted to make 20 visits for November. I went. I conquered. And I ran! (which I vowed I'd never do, even if I were being chased by a large land animal).
Hi everybody! I am brand new to this site. I just joined yesterday. My small victories are really quite big. My daughter, Madeline, died 19 weeks ago from SIDS. I literally have done nothing except lay on the couch and watch TV. I decided to come visit my parents in Arkansas. I started walking and even went for a walk/run yesterday. I was so proud of myself. I have about 50lbs to lose and am determined!! I never lost the weight from when I had my son 5 1/2 years ago...YIKES! I'd say it's time to get healthy!
Have a GREAT day!
Elise I am so sorry! I can't even begin to imagine having to go through something that terrible. But it's so cool you are getting up and out. I agree, that is a HUGE victory and don't let anyone tell you any different!
Thanks Mick! I has taken a lot for me to get going again. I am feeling better than I have in a long time. I just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Have a GREAT day!
when I am tempted by my favorite foods but I am able to resist because I have a goal in mind.
My little victory is getting rid of chocolates.
Little Victories this week: Joined one month ago. Result - Loss of 12 lbs and 1 1/2 inches of chest and waist. All Chirstmas done and wrapped and house completely cleaned and straightened. Not bad for a single dad of 49 with full custody.
