So my very first day working out at Anytime Fitness was May 17th, 2011. Today is September 3rd, 2011. I started at 260 (possibly more in the picture) and in just over 3 1/2 months I've lost a total of 64 lbs! The first photo was from Dec. 2008, and the current one was me at 59 lbs lost. For the first time I can remember I'm under 200 lbs, 196 to be exact! I feel awesome and I think I look pretty good too!!
I'm shooting for about 170 for the ultimate goal but as of right now my mini goal is to hit 190.

Wow...good for you! I wish I could loose 60 pounds in that time!
Keep it up and please keep us updated.
WOW! That is amazing. Great Job! It might be a good idea for you to share what your workout/nutrition regimen has been. You look great.
I started on March 8, 2011 and have lost about 57 pounds- it was really fast at first, but has slowed down significantly over the last month or so.
Keep it up!
Congrats! you do look great
I agree with sarah, you should share your secrets. I've lost 70 lbs since january 2011, i wanna lose 15 more before the year's out. I've definitely slowed down recently, just 5 lbs in the last month and I know that its whats supposed to happen but its still a little frustrating. Keep up the great work!
Congrats !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great job
Congrats, that is awesome.
Thank you everyone! Your feedback and encouragement is just awesome!
I work out Mon, Weds, Thurs, Sat, and Sun.
As far as my routine when I workout I start with the elliptical on level 10 for usually 30-35 mins (plus the 5 min cooldown period). After 15 seconds in I do 30 seconds of 'very vigorous' effort and then 15 seconds of 'moderate' to 'vigorous' effort, then another 30 seconds and I continue this all the way through.
Then I go to various machines such as the tricep pull-down, lat pull-down, chest press, and I've been doing some barbell curls. I'm trying to work in more free weights rather than just machines.
But I end my workout with 15-20 mins back on the elliptical. I try to end up with half my time on the elliptical as 'very vigorous' like today putting this into the activity tracker I did 50 mins total, I entered in 25 mins 'very vigorous' and 25 mins 'vigorous'. I also work out with my trainer every Saturday.
My diet has also completely changed. No more soda, fast food, pizza, whatever. I have been living off these lean cuisine or healthy choice frozen meals and I think that has really helped me lose the weight. These meals are usually 200-400 calories each. I drink usually 8-10 bottles of water a day. I also eat a lot more fruit.
I guess that's really what I do. I've been getting great results so I'm stickin to it!
how did you imbed the photos in the message? I tried using photobuckect to do mine once but it just wont work for me
That is amazing! You actually look younger now! That is what people tell me as well...kind of wild how weight adds age.
Keep up the good work man!
Tim, for the photos there is a little image icon when typing your message on here. You click it and a box pops up that you have to put a link into, I just put the photobucket link in there.
Sleepin, thanks I never really thought about that. People used to say I looked older than my older brother, he's 26 and I'm 23. When I was 20 it helped me get into the bars
so I didn't mind. But ya I guess that's always a plus!
Thanks
I see the icon now above the box. Just never looked close enough at it before.
So I played soccer today for the first time since I was about 16 (competitively, that is) and it felt awesome! I was in shape, and wayyyy faster than I've probably ever been in my life. The team I was on got our butts whipped but we were short 4 players (7 vs 11). Even though we lost so bad, it just felt awesome. Made me feel like a kid again! I know I'm only 23, but this is my favorite sport and it just felt GREAT being able to be out there and not die. Played a full 90 minutes!
On top of all this fun I had, I had a smile on my face because the team manager handed me a jersey size Large, and it FIT!
I've been a 2XL-3XL for YEARS!
On a side note, I bought a cheap pair of jeans last night, waist size 38 Slim Fit! I haven't been a 38 since I was 14, my freshman year of high school! Biggest I've been was a size 46. I just feel AMAZING.
Way to freakin go man, that is incredible!!!!!
That is Awesome!!! Keep up the Hard Work
Thanks guys! I'm down to 192 right now. I'm actually leaving for Europe today for a month so I hope I can find a gym and stay active while I'm over there. I suspended my AF membership for the time that I'm gone. Let's hope I can continue the progress (or at least not gain any weight back) while I'm over there.
Way to go! That's so awesome!
