Why did you stop eating meat? Having a good amount of protein in you diet is essential to weight loss.

Have you tried using the calorie tracker on this web site? I lost 40 lbs in about 3months using the diet and activity tracker. I found the most weight loss came when I watched my weekly chart. I kept the carbs at about 55%, protien at about 25% and fat at about 20%. You may have to adjust that a little to meet your needs.

Educate yourself! Body For Life is a good book for beginners. Make sure you eat enough protein, as protein is what builds muscle. You can do that and not eat meat, it's just more difficult. Weight lifting will get you tone and you will see results faster, it takes off inches. Cardio burns fat.

It's generally carbohydrates you should be limiting, not meats, unless you were a heavy red meat eater.
And that is limiting, not cutting out completely.
If you take something out of your diet, you also take out vital nutrients as well.
There isn't a multi-vitamin in the world that can completely make up for the vitamins and nutrients of a healthy diet.
Remember that food pyramid from school?
Even a certain amount of fat is important for the body. It cushions organs and helps deliver some nutrients that aren't solvable in water. Heck, brains and boobs are made up of the stuff.

Kudos on the walking though.Happy Not many people have the motivation to exercise every day like that, myself included.
Keep it up.

Would it be a smart move to get a personal and trainer at anytime fitness and does that cost any extra for help from one the personal trainers?
