i want to know what is the best excercise for me? i just joined anytime fitness a little over a week ago. i like the treadmill and bicycling. but the stair machine and the other stepping thing is too hard on me and i cant manage to do it more than 5 mins at a time. i am 290 and i'd like to get to 200 or less...can you reccomend a meal plan and an excercise that will help me?
Getting in the gym is the first step, congrats. I know its a rough road that I too am currently travailing. Hang in there.
One thing I would do is try to eat 500 fewer calories than your BMR. Incorporate fresh veggies and fruits, cut back on bad fats, and take it slow. I personal do not like the calorie counter on AH and I use the myfitpal app on my phone. It has a great bank of foods, and you can scan bar codes with it. I do like the workout planner and activity tracker on AH. It allows you to see your progression. Starting at 5 minutes is ok, today. Tomorrow shoot for 6 minutes. 7 the next, and so on. before you know it will be 10, 20, and 30 minutes. Keep up the good work.
