how do i log normal daily activity on a non-workout day in the activity log?
0

I plan two recovery or rest days each week - usually Wednesday and Sunday. However, I am not sitting still on those days - they are very busy with a variety of things; including household chores, church work, etc. It seems weird to log no activity at all. I know I am burning some calories even though not at the gym on those days. Does it make sense to just wear my heart rate monitor watch - start the timer in the morning and log the calories burned when I am finished for the day? Or would that be overstating my activity level? Thanks.

If you have a heart rate monitor that records calories, it would be ok to wear it throughout the day and then record it as a custom activity and put in the calories it says on the watch.

Thanks, Courtney. I'll give it a try this Sunday. It should be interesting.

Hi Poppydes,

It's really easy and it's all here on this website. Simply go to the Nutrition Tab then the Diet Tracker Tab, and then click 'add food' and simply select what you ate and how much for each meal. The program does the rest and it will tell you how many calories you have consumed.
