Taking the world by storm, psy may not be the typical fitness costume concept. However, if you have ever tried doing the Gangnam Style dance routine, you know that it definitely requires some physical activity. Capture his looks by making sure that the song is downloaded to your phone or mp3 player so you can bust out the dance at any moment’s notice. To complete the look Vans and sunglasses are a must.
We couldn't do a post about fitness costumes without including Fitness Icon, Richard Simmons. With his crazy characteristics and unique personality, he would be a fun costume persona even without the fitness component. Now guys, short running shorts are a Richard Simmons staple, so get ready to show off those legs!
Olivia Newton John
“Let's Get Physical” is a song that most people consider "fitness related music," right? So, of course, we are going to include Olivia on our list. This costume is extremely budget friendly and most items can be purchased at Target, Walmart, or even a thrift store like Goodwill. Now the challenge…gaining flexibility by Halloween. I think you can do it!
Katniss Everdeen from Hunger Games
New York Times Best Seller, Hunger Games, has become a pop-culture phenomenon with its new movie. Katniss is the perfect Halloween costume for those who want to be comfortable all night. Unless you go with glam Katniss, this costume involves very comfy pieces like jeans, a warm jacket, hiking boots, and a bow (and arrows). Your job is to walk around all day yelling, "I VOLUNTEER, I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE."
