Can you believe summer is almost over? In less than three weeks I will be starting my fourth and final year at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Where has time gone?
Today I wanted to post about “dorm room” or at-home exercise. When school starts, fitting in a workout can be difficult. School, work, and extra-curricular activities leave little time for organized exercise. I remember freshman year, turning my dorm room into a mini gym with a yoga mat, medicine ball, and workout DVD because I only had a short 30 minutes to complete my workout for the day. I have put together some of my favorite body weight exercises that are easy, fast, and can be done anywhere and at any time!
Disclaimer: I am not fitness professional and the exercises I have provided should only be used as a guideline. Always check with your doctor or medical professional before beginning a new workout.
All you need for these exercises is a stopwatch and a mat. Do each exercise for 1 minute and rest for 30 seconds in between. Repeat 3 times for a total of 30 minutes. Simply click the link for video instruction.
